(Counter Culture - Durham, NC)
This higher altitude coffee comes from the South of Ecuador and was grown at 1500 MASL. Featuring notes of cherry, nougat and citrus, this fully washed coffee is sure to be a crowd pleaser. It's a mix of three different varieties - Caturra, Typica and Bourbon. In addition to these tasting notes we've noticed a chewy, syrupy quality in the cup as well as some spicy notes on the backend. We're planning on serving this primarily as a filter coffee, with the option to serve it up as a single origin espresso on the EK or the Mythos.
